Stonehaven New Year Fireworks Fireballs

Since I started blogging, I have always loved reading weekly round-up posts. I think it is perhaps that they add a degree of personality to the blog. I used to do a weekly one too - in 2016/17, I had a weekly one then stopped. So in 2019, I want to bring back this feature as it was always one of my favourites to write.

This week marked the end of all the festivities which meant sadly I had to return back to what they call work aka my day job (boo). I have really enjoyed being off and spending time with family and friends without having to make plans work around work. It has truly been great. One of my ultimate favourite days was actually heading up a hill with my parents and the pups. Alfie and Maisie had a brilliant time walking up although it was a little windy up the top. Both were SO dirty when they came home - they definitely got banished to the kitchen until they had dried off a little.

New Year was definitely one of my highlights of this week. I spent it at a Ceilidh with some friends and then nipped out to check out the Stonehaven fireballs which is a great way to see in the New Year. I just need to remember to wrap up warm next time.

What else have I been up to? Oh I watched Luther - I could not watch that bus scene sitting comfortably. I may or may not have been hiding behind a blanket watching that. In addition, I have also been updating my Goodreads account with books I know I still have in the house that I have not yet read.

Until next week...
