Monthly Favourites | February...

Teacups_and_Buttondrops_February_Favourites

Oh February, you started well but ended miserably. I mean you tempt us with the signs of Spring - the Snowdrops, the lighter evenings and even a slight rise of temperature but then you end it with severe Snowy weather. Just where is the fairness in that?

So apart from the promise of Spring, what else did I love in February?

Rugby:

I am a huge rugby fan so in February, I headed down to Murrayfield for 2 of the Six nations games: Scotland vs France and Scotland vs England. Both very enjoyable particularly as Scotland won both matches.

Maisie:

I'm always going to ramble on about this little one but she is seriously such a confident, determined little lady. She just knows what she wants and isn't afraid to do it either and always does it with a little bit of sass.

Reading:

In February, I spent a lot more time reading and it did me the world of good if I'm honest. Sometimes I have too much screen time and things get a little chaotic but taking some time out to read has really been beneficial. Everyone should try it at least once.

Nutella:

This was always banned when I was growing up for obvious reasons. Nutella is notoriously easy to binge on. Recently someone casually mentioned it in passing and so I had to get some. I've been pretty good with it so far and usually have it with sliced Banana.
