Eats | Parmesan & Spinach Crackers...


Over the years, I have become much more partial to baked goods of the savoury kind. Don't get me wrong, I still love the sweet stuff but savoury goods definitely tend to float my boat more.

Crackers are something that I have made on several occasions with success so I thought that it was time to get a little more experimental. These Parmesan and Spinach crackers are easy to make and are the perfect accompaniment to your favourite choice of dip.



You will need:

2 Cups of Spinach
50g Parmesan
1 tbsp Sesame Seeds
200g Plain Flour
1.5 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Salt
1 tbsp Olive Oil
60ml Water


001) Preheat the oven to 200C
002) Place the Spinach and the water into a blender. Blend.
003) Into a bowl, mix in all of the dry ingredients (including the Parmesan & Sesame Seeds).
004) Add in the Olive Oil and Spinach mix into the bowl.
005) Mix and knead the dough into a ball. If the dough is too sticky, add a little more flour and if it is too dry, add a little more water.
006) Onto a floured surface, roll out the dough. 
007) Using a pizza cutter (or similar) cut the dough into cracker size pieces
008) Place into the oven and bake for around 15-20 mins
