One of my favourite things to do in the gym is lift heavy weights. I get so much satisfaction from lifting heavy. However, one of the things that I was not loving was the sections of hard skin that were starting to appear on my hand.
Around Christmas time, I asked my parents for a pair of gloves for lifting and sadly I ended up putting a hole in the thumb (oops!), so I was on the hunt for a new pair. I knew what I wanted: more cushioning and some wrist support (my previous ones had none). I also didn't want to pay an arm and a leg for them.
Popping onto Amazon, I came across
these ones by Seemu. They had good reviews so I ordered a pair....
First time I tried them, I was a little unsure. I think this was mainly due to the fact that they are a completely different design to my previous ones. However, since wearing them more often, I have grown to love them. Regardless of how sweaty my hands get during the session, once the gloves are off, my hands are dry underneath. I have also been finding that I have much more grip with these and I am able to lift heavier. However, one thing that I am finding is that the cushioned sections are a little too high, comfy yes, but a little high when trying to shift the grip on the bar.
