Beautiful things #1...

Forth Road Bridge...

Sometimes even the simple, little thing in life can make you smile. From photographs to trying new foods, these things can all make us smile.

Here is what has been making me smile recently:

Cous Cous Salad:
I have been stuck in such a rut with ideas for lunches recently. It all gets boring so quickly eating the same thing day in, day out. especially working in an office Monday to Friday. In an effort to mix things up a bit, I came across cous cous salad and to say it was good is an understatement.

Instagram - Lewis Hamilton:
Formula 1 is a pretty awesome sport, yes? With the season on hiatus until March, I have been resorting to social media to keep up with the drivers and the teams. Lewis Hamilton is one of the drivers (perhaps the only one) I follow on instagram. His posts range from gorgeous scenary to things that he has been up to. Did I mention he also posts (a lot) about his gorgeous bulldogs Roscoe & Coco? You can find him on instagram here.

Benefit 'Cha-cha' tint:
I have always been a sucker for anything by Benefit. Cute packaging and products that work, what more could I want? Cha-cha tint is another one of their tint ranges (original being Benetint) and this one is a coral colour. I have been using this product on my cheeks daily since before Christmas and I absolutely adore it.Perfect for a winter pick-me-up.

Instagram - Kelly Rutherford:
Kelly Rutherford is perhaps best known for her portrayal of Lily van der Woodsen in Gossip Girl. As someone who used to watch/watches Gossip Girl, I primarily stumbled across her Instagram through her twitter (I believe). On her instagram, Kelly posts regularly on a variety of things: from quotes to cups of coffee (not a bad thing - I do too!) as well as fun things she has been doing. In addition, there is also some pictures of NYC which just makes my desire to visit there even stronger (maybe when I'm not so hidden underneath renovations and wallpaper samples...haha). If you're not already following Kelly, then you can do so here.

Plain Noodles with Soy Sauce:
Simple dinner and incredibly underrated.Yum!

  1. Gossip Girl really has inspired me to want to visit NYC tbh.

    1. ooth Gossip Girl & CSI:NY have inspired me to visit. It looks so beautiful although I think I would need at least 2 weeks to see everything!

Comments make my day and I read every single one :)
