Monthly Favourites | October...

Teacups_and_Buttondrops_Monthly_Favourites_October

If I'm 100% honest, October is actually my favourite month of the year: the autumn colours, the cooler weather and the start of the run up to the festive period. I also like the return of gripping TV dramas; the weekends where the weather is so bad that you don't feel guilty for staying in and the excuse to light all the candles.

So, with that in mind,  what did I love in October?

Rose Gold Fitbit Strap:

I've had my Fitbit Charge 2 for almost a year and it was fine...until I broke the strap mid-way through a class. A quick look on Amazon and I came across this one. It has a super-strong magnetic fastening instead of a buckle and I think this strap looks a million times better than the original one.

Essie 'Dressed to the Nineties':

I have no idea how many times I have declared my love for Essie's nail varnish - honestly they are so good! This one is from their Autumn/Fall collection which pays homage to the 90's. It is a deep purple which has a shimmer of green depending on the way that you view it in the light. Great coverage too!

Lush Buche De Noel Fresh Cleanser:

For someone that uses cleanser daily, you would have thought I would have tried using a fresh one by now. Unfortunately I hadn't until this one by Lush came into my possession. This cleanser forms part of their Christmas 2017 range (more on that soon) and is made from natural ingredients.

How to be an Overnight Success - Maria Hatzistefanis:

Don't be fooled by this title. This book documents the story of the brand Rodial and so far I am loving it. It is such an easy read and is great to read in small increments with a cup of tea or coffee.
