Beauty | Rimmel Volume Shake Mascara...

Teacups and Buttondrops Rimmel Volume Shake Mascara

Mascaras are one of those make-up items that I am always changing as I'm very aware that a mascara is only good for 3 months. And let's face it - no-one wants an eye infection!

One of my most recent mascara purchases was Rimmel's Volume Shake Mascara. Generally I love Rimmel as a brand as I feel that they are always bringing new innovations to the market (their Moisture Renew Clear Lip Liner is an absolute game changer) and their latest mascara is no different.

Aside from putting 'Shake it off' in your head, the Volume Shake Mascara volumises and defines your lashes. Additionally, this mascara is as black as a mascara as you can get on the market and that is a major selling point for me.

In regards to the 'Shake' aspect of the mascara, this is related to the design. In a normal mascara, you will find that they easily dry out and clump and this is attributed to the poor design of most mascaras. However, in this one the rim is wider and the brush glides out without tugging so there is less chance of the mascara drying out (and less need for over-pumping the wand). In addition, if you do feel that it is drying out, then just give the bottle and shake and everything will be alright again.
