You may or may not know that I am particularly fussy when it comes to base products. Generally speaking I always read a heap of reviews before I buy one particularly if it is foundation.

I had heard a lot about the Bourjois Healthy Mix range so it was pretty high up on my list to try something from that range.

As I had run out of foundation, I decided to give their Healthy Mix Serum foundation a go.

Shade:

Healthy Mix Serum foundation comes in 6 different shades. Not as good a variety as some products, but nonetheless more than others. My shade is Vanilla which is on the paler end of the spectrum.

Application:

Like most foundations, this foundation has a pump and it doesn't take a lot of effort to get a decent amount out. The product itself glides beautifully onto your skin and the serum formula makes it even easier.

Coverage:

This foundation is described as a light to medium coverage which is my preferred option. I find that it covers up imperfections really well. In addition, I find that it does last quite a long time - maybe not 16 hours as it claims but for a fair amount of time anyway.

Overall, I quite like this foundation. The coverage is good; the application is good and it also smells pretty fine too. In addition, the bottle is compact too making it easy to travel with. Finally, it is reasonably priced at £10.99.
