Eats | Caramac Blondies...

I love a good Blondie. I also love Caramac. So what happens when you combine the two together? An epic combination that is what.

You will need:

2 x Bars of Caramac
1 cup Caramac Buttons
1 1/2 cup Dark Brown Sugar
1/2 cup Butter (melted)
2 eggs (beaten)
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 1/2 cups Plain Flour
1/2 tsp Salt

Method:

001) Preheat oven to 180c and grease a square baking tin (I think mine is 9x9 inches)
002) In a large bowl, combine the Sugar, Butter, Eggs & Vanilla.
003) Into a separate bowl, combine the Flour, Baking Powder and Salt.
004) Add the Flour mixture into the Sugar mixture.
005) Add in Caramac Buttons and stir until they are mixed thoroughly.
006) Place into the oven for 20 mins.
007) Leave to cool for a little while and once slightly cooled, place the Caramac squares on top for decoration. Don't do what I did and put them on too soon though otherwise they melt very quickly.
