Life | This Week #070...

001) Well, I can't exactly start by not saying anything about Scotland's incredible 6 Nations win over Ireland yesterday?Apparently it was the 1st time in many years that they have won their opening 6 nations game as well as beaten Ireland.

I have been to Murrayfield many times to watch them play but never have I heard or seen such emotion from Scottish supporters after we realised we had won. The atmosphere was indescribable - lots of fans hugging each other and one guy on the screen was in complete tears of happiness. The Irish fans were absolutely brilliant as well and the biggest smile of all (besides the fans) was definitely Greg Laidlaw (Scottish Captain) when he went up to collect the Quaich Cup. I'm genuinely looking forward to seeing the boys play in the rest of the 6 nations - just as long as they stop making my heart sit in my mouth quite so much! At rugby, you are truly on edge for the entire 80 minutes particularly if the opposing team decide to wake up after half-time!

002) Having a slow cooker is the absolute dream right now. It is so easy to use and if you're lazy like me, then being able to throw everything in and leave it to do its thing is perfect. Today (when my shopping arrives that is), I will be making Butternut Squash Tagine for lunches next week.

003) This week I switched to using Almond Milk in my tea and coffee. Not because I've gone off normal milk but purely because I accidentally ordered 3 cartons of Almond Milk as opposed to one. To be honest, I don't really taste much difference between the 2.
