Yoga and Cats are pretty high up on my list of favourite things. So when The Cat in the Window Cafe started Kitty Yoga sessions on a Thursday night, I decided I definitely could not miss out on booking a session with a friend.

Kitty Yoga is essentially as it sounds: Yoga with Cats. Although I must add that the cats aren't actually doing the Yoga class - they are just in the background entertaining themselves while we bend and stretch.

Our Kitty Yoga session started with some tea and a chance to meet the cats. Most of the cats were out and about in the cafe although I'm not sure if Romeo was around as I don't think I saw him. As the cats had just been fed they were all up for causing a bit of mayhem before the Yoga started which was great fun to watch.

With tea drank and cats cuddled, it was now time to begin the Yoga session.

During the Yoga session, the cats were free to roam as they pleased which was pretty amusing. Either Drago or Boo (can't remember which) decided that my top knot looked interesting enough to play with while I was in a forward fold (he didn't in the end). Cat mat hopping was a common occurrence which led to a lot of, shall we say, interesting Yoga.

Overall, the experience was really good. The cats were far too cute (I definitely had a major soft spot for Zeus) and the Yoga class was honestly amazing. If you fancy giving it a go, then I would definitely recommend trying it out.

Kitty Yoga costs £15 per session and can be booked online here
