Reads: Karren Brady Strong Woman...

Today is International Women's Day, so I am sharing a review of someone who think is an inspiration.

One of my favourite type of books to read are those which are both inspirational and autobiographical. While hunting for a new read, I stumbled across Strong Woman by Karren Brady. As someone who watches The Apprentice avidly, I was keen to find out more about Karren and her achievements and so I added the book into my basket.

What I like about this book is that it is not simply a biography: it is much more than that. In each chapter, Karren deals with a different aspect of her life: for example from how she became involved in football to how she maintains a work/home balance. She also provides valuable advice throughout in the same no-nonsense approach that we have come to love on The Apprentice.

Overall, I thought that this book was a brilliant read and one that I found to be very inspirational. If you like books that are motivational and easy to read, you will love this.
